Together Design Show The Design Community How To Make Watering Can Packaging Beautiful

The London-based design agency reposition Haws pack to the top of the market with their market research, brand strategy and packaging design.

The Client: Haws
The Designer: Together Design

The Project: Together Design redesigned the brand identity for the West-Midlands-based watering can company with a strategy that appealed to traditional horticulturalists as well as new enthusiasts. The agency was recognised by the 2020 Dieline Awards, with this project earning the title of rebrand of the year.

In Our Opinion: Together Design was able to identify Haws’ strengths in traditional craftsmanship and align it with today’s instagram generation and they’ve done it well. The products that Haws has to offer are stunning. Together Design have taken those products and brought them to life for the target audience, who will know they’re getting a quality watering can before even trying it out!

“By engaging with new audiences, the brand repositioning enabled Haws to extend into the homeware retailer market as well as their more traditional garden centre channels. The new packaging formats reduce unused space for more efficient shipping, helping Haws’ environmental credentials chime with a more switched-on audience. And the brand’s flourishing sales and profile received a prestigious boost in 2020, with Haws granted a stand at horticulture’s spiritual home, the Chelsea Flower Show.”
